Privacy Policy
Last updated [DATE]This policy explains what personal information Amazon Masters collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese.
Who we are
Amazon Masters is an Amazon FBA education and advertising business operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in [COUNTRY] under company number [NUMBER], at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for the information described here. That means we decide what is collected and why, and we are responsible for looking after it.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request the free starter bundle or book a call, we ask for:
- Your name — so we know who we are talking to.
- Your email address — to send you the bundle and reply to you.
- Your phone number — because we call you to arrange your free consultation. This field is required for that reason.
- Your consent — we record that you ticked the consent box, and when.
If you message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, or email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.
Information about your booking
Calls are scheduled through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects the details you enter on its form and shares the booking with us. Calendly handles that data under its own privacy policy as well as ours.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when a page loads — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
[If you add analytics, advertising pixels, a Meta pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking or a heatmap tool, list them here before you switch them on.]
What we do not collect
We do not ask for payment card details on this site, and we do not collect special category data such as health, religion or political views. Please do not send us that kind of information.
Why we use it
- To send you the starter bundle you asked for — the PDF guide and the intro video.
- To call and email you to arrange and hold your free consultation.
- To answer your questions and give you information about our courses and services.
- To send you webinar invitations and occasional updates, if you agreed to that.
- To keep records of who consented to be contacted, and when.
- To run and secure the website, and to understand in general terms how it is used.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Our legal basis
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, we rely on:
- Consent — for marketing emails, webinar invitations and the calls you asked us to make. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Performance of a contract — where you have bought a course or service from us, or asked for steps before entering one.
- Legitimate interests — to run and secure our website, to keep records, and to respond to enquiries. We balance this against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we have to keep records for tax or accounting.
International transfers
We operate from [COUNTRY] and work with clients and suppliers in other countries, including the United States. That means your information may be stored or processed outside the country you live in.
Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists, or on the UK Addendum and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with any additional safeguards the transfer needs. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that go nowhere — [e.g. 24 months] from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop, and then only a suppression record so we do not contact you again by mistake.
- Customers — for the length of the programme and then [e.g. 6 years], because tax and accounting rules require it.
- Consent records — for as long as we rely on that consent, plus a reasonable period afterwards so we can show it was given.
Marketing, calls and opt-out
When you tick the consent box you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone and email about your enquiry, and send you the bundle you asked for.
You can stop this at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply to any message or email us at [EMAIL] and ask us to stop. If we call you and you would rather we did not call again, say so on the call and we will record it.
If we send you SMS messages, you can reply STOP to opt out. Message frequency varies, and your network's message and data rates may apply.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages we need to send you about a course you have actually bought.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need;
- object to or restrict what we do with it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
To exercise any of this, email [EMAIL]. We will reply within one month. We may need to check who you are first.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to your data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Information about other people
Parts of this site show posts and results from our students, including their names, photographs and sales figures. We publish those only where the student has agreed to it, and any student can ask us to take their post down at any time by emailing [EMAIL]. We will remove it promptly.
Children
This site and our services are for adults running or starting a business. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on the systems that hold your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we do take it seriously and we will tell you and the relevant regulator if a breach occurs and the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes or the law does. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
